Dentures are false teeth made of acrylic or a combination of acrylic and metal. They are removable and are used to replace missing teeth. Dentures can replace either a few missing teeth or all of the teeth in the upper or lower jaw.
Partial dentures are used to replace one or more missing teeth in the same arch, while full dentures are used to replace all the teeth in an arch. Partial dentures are typically made with a metal base and acrylic teeth and gums, while full dentures are made of plastic and acrylic.
